Two decades ago, Asif Qureshi was a cub reporter trying to navigate the Kashmiri media world. He had a dream to create a space with other Kashmiri journalists, to collaborate, share ideas, and bond over their common passion of storytelling, also known as a press club. About 20 cities in India have a press club associated with the Press Club of India, a place for journalists to convene. The Indian administered union territory of Kashmir never had one.
